A TEST OF TESTIMONY

A TEST OF TESTIMONY

As believers, we often proclaim our faithfulness to God, but the true test of our devotion comes when we're faced with trials and tribulations. Without a test, there is no testimony. God tests us to see if we can hold on to the testimony that will come our way.

God tests us to refine our faith, to purify us, and to prepare us for the testimony that's yet to come. He wants to know if we'll remain faithful, even when the blessings aren't flowing, and the challenges are mounting. As a believer, you need to know that God will always test your faith to see how faithful you are.

We often say we are faithful when there's no test and we enjoy good things in our life. But the question remains, will you be able to stand in the midst of the test? Do we forget the number of people in the Bible who went through tests to meet their testimony? Even great men and ministers of God on earth share their testimony of what happened in their lives.

Abraham was tested when God asked him to sacrifice his only son, Isaac. His obedience led to a powerful testimony of God's provision and faithfulness. Joseph endured years of slavery, imprisonment, and betrayal, yet he remained faithful, and his testimony of forgiveness and redemption inspired a nation. Job faced unimaginable loss and suffering, but despite the trials, he refused to curse God, and his testimony of trust and perseverance has encouraged countless believers throughout history.

When the storms of life rage against you, will you hold on to your faith, or will you let go? Will you pass the test of testimony, or will you falter? Remember, faith is not just a theoretical concept; it's a practical reality that must be lived out in the midst of trials and challenges. So, let us resolve to stand firm, to persevere, and to hold on to our testimony, no matter what tests may come our way.

REALITY CHECKS  Love Therapy I asked a friend, why do you love a lady and he responded, because she’s beautiful and smart. I taught about it for a while. I asked him again, what if you wake up one morning and her beauty and smartness is no more, what would you do? I found it funny when people tell me they love someone because of their outward appearance or what they can do. Don't  get me wrong, am not saying outward appearance does not matter but it should not be the focus of your relationship or marriage. Don’t make that mistake. When Adam saw Eve,  he said this is the bone of my bone and the flesh of my flesh. You don’t need any reason to love someone or be in a relationship with someone just because they helped you when you needed them most.  Most relationships is base on situations or demand so when one is not getting what he or she is looking for then he backs out. God's love for mankind was not based on any reason but he loves as even in our weaknesses. Many ma...

TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF

TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF Why carry burdens you were never meant to bear? Why lose sleep over things beyond repair? The storms may rise, the winds may roar, But your Father holds the open door. He calms the seas, He knows your name, No struggle faced is faced in vain. So breathe in peace, let worry cease Let faith arise and fear release. Take the pressure off, lift your eyes above, And walk in grace, in strength, in love. You’re not alone, you're held so tight Live a life that's full of light.   BY EMMANUEL ASARE MIREKU

A REALITY CHECK

A Reality Check: How a Challenge Changed My Life * I love it when people challenge me, not on a bad note, but on a good basis. One challenge that stands out in my mind is when my spiritual father told me he wanted my grades to change souls into the kingdom. Those words struck a chord in me, and I took it personal. At the time, I was in senior high school, and I didn't get the grades I wanted. But I knew that greater things awaited me ahead. When I got to university, I started engaging in serious academic studies with the mindset that my grades would change someone. And I'm here to tell you that it's very true that grades can change souls. I studied continuously, and one day, a friend came to me and said, "Chale, you study too much!" It was funny, but I realized that God was taking me somewhere. People started looking for me to do their quizzes, assignments, and teach them. I realized I could use that opportunity to win souls for God. So, after prayers, I wou...
