THE BREAKFAST

THIS THING CALLED MARRIAGE

Marriage, not just a union of two people, but a journey of countless seasons, a school with no graduation, only tests, lessons, and silent reflections.

Many walk through life, burdened not by failure,

Not by loss or death,

But by a single decision made in the name of love,

Or sometimes, in the name of fear, pressure, or haste.

Some wear smiles that do not reach their hearts,

Carrying a weight they cannot share,

Wishing they could return to yesterday

To make a different choice, To wait a little longer, To see a little clearer.

But life moves forward.

And marriage, once entered, becomes its own world.

A world where love must grow into patience,

Where passion must mature into understanding,

Where commitment must survive disappointment.

The young admire the idea of marriage

They see the beauty, the glamour, the dream.

The old, with stories behind their eyes,

Sometimes wish for an exit

From the very thing they once chased with joy.

This thing called marriage is not a fairy tale;

It is a sacred covenant,

A lifetime woven into one decision.

A decision that must be made not with just the heart,

But with wisdom, counsel, and vision.

For love may light the path,

But it is wisdom that keeps the flame burning.

Choose wisely,

Because not all that glitters is gold,

And not every smile means peace.

Marriage is beautiful, yes

But only when two people are ready not just to feel love,

But to build it.

A MESSAGE TO THE YOUTH

In the noise of today’s world, where trends move fast, and pressure speaks louder than truth, take a breath. Listen, not to the shouts of society or the whisper of peers, but to the calm wisdom within.

Don't let the world rush you into choices that will haunt your tomorrow. Especially in matters of love and marriage, patience is not just a virtue, it is a safeguard.

When you stand at the edge of that life-altering decision, do not let feelings blur your vision. Take a step back. Strip away emotions and ask yourself one honest question:
Is this person someone I can truly share my life with not just for today, but for all the unknown tomorrows? Too many have mistaken infatuation for destiny. Too many have seen the red flags waving and still walked on, hoping love would change what truth already revealed.

But hear this,  what you ignore now, will echo later, in pain, in regret, sometimes even in bruises.

Yes, bruises.
Emotional ones. Physical ones.
Don’t say, “He will change when we marry.” Don’t say, “She will understand later.”
Because two weeks in, the mask may fall and you may find yourself in a prison built by your own silence. Marriage is not a cure. It magnifies, it does not mendIt is not a rescue mission. It is a union of  two whole, ready souls. Think, Ask the questions no one dares to ask. Choose with wisdom, not with fear or fantasy.

The right choice will bless you. The wrong one will break you.

Let this be a call to awaken.

A call to think beyond now.
A call to choose not just love, but peace, purpose, and truth.

Thank you

REALITY CHECKS  Love Therapy I asked a friend, why do you love a lady and he responded, because she’s beautiful and smart. I taught about it for a while. I asked him again, what if you wake up one morning and her beauty and smartness is no more, what would you do? I found it funny when people tell me they love someone because of their outward appearance or what they can do. Don't  get me wrong, am not saying outward appearance does not matter but it should not be the focus of your relationship or marriage. Don’t make that mistake. When Adam saw Eve,  he said this is the bone of my bone and the flesh of my flesh. You don’t need any reason to love someone or be in a relationship with someone just because they helped you when you needed them most.  Most relationships is base on situations or demand so when one is not getting what he or she is looking for then he backs out. God's love for mankind was not based on any reason but he loves as even in our weaknesses. Many ma...

TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF

TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF Why carry burdens you were never meant to bear? Why lose sleep over things beyond repair? The storms may rise, the winds may roar, But your Father holds the open door. He calms the seas, He knows your name, No struggle faced is faced in vain. So breathe in peace, let worry cease Let faith arise and fear release. Take the pressure off, lift your eyes above, And walk in grace, in strength, in love. You’re not alone, you're held so tight Live a life that's full of light.   BY EMMANUEL ASARE MIREKU

A REALITY CHECK

A Reality Check: How a Challenge Changed My Life * I love it when people challenge me, not on a bad note, but on a good basis. One challenge that stands out in my mind is when my spiritual father told me he wanted my grades to change souls into the kingdom. Those words struck a chord in me, and I took it personal. At the time, I was in senior high school, and I didn't get the grades I wanted. But I knew that greater things awaited me ahead. When I got to university, I started engaging in serious academic studies with the mindset that my grades would change someone. And I'm here to tell you that it's very true that grades can change souls. I studied continuously, and one day, a friend came to me and said, "Chale, you study too much!" It was funny, but I realized that God was taking me somewhere. People started looking for me to do their quizzes, assignments, and teach them. I realized I could use that opportunity to win souls for God. So, after prayers, I wou...
