" From Hardship to Hope: A Journey of Resilience"

In the vast tapestry of life, there lies the western side, a land that often feels like a living hell. It's a place where the dreams of many seem so distant, where the harsh realities of existence can crush even the strongest spirits. It's here that children are born into a world that seems bent on testing their resilience from the very start.

I've pondered why tears flow freely when the realization dawns that Africa is our motherland. It's a continent that often feels like a battleground, where survival sometimes means wading through the mire of selfishness and individualism. In this unforgiving terrain, people chase their own interests relentlessly, often at the expense of those around them.

The pursuit of wealth can drive some to unspeakable acts, where the allure of money blinds even the closest of kin. It's a place where the thirst for riches can warp minds and souls, leading to deeds that chill the very bones. Money, they say, is the root of all evil, yet poverty too can be a cruel affliction, gnawing at the foundation of hope.

In moments of despair, I've found myself wondering if our ancestors made a Faustian bargain, trading their freedom for a mirage of prosperity. Perhaps, if they had walked a different path, I would now be sipping tea in the cafes of Europe, basking in the luxuries of distant lands.

But through the bleakness, a ray of light emerges – from the ashes of adversity, we rise. We were forged in poverty, but within us simmers the potential for greatness, waiting to be unleashed. The dreams we harbor are the seeds of a brighter tomorrow, the visions that propel us forward in the face of adversity.

We are dreamers, we are fighters, and we are the architects of our destiny. Though the road ahead may be treacherous, we march forward with unwavering resolve. From the depths of struggle, we shall carve out a path to prosperity, turning our hardships into stepping stones towards a brighter future.

With determination as our compass and hope as our guide, we navigate the tumultuous waters of life, embracing each challenge as an opportunity for growth. Let our struggles be the fuel that ignites our journey towards success.

REALITY CHECKS  Love Therapy I asked a friend, why do you love a lady and he responded, because she’s beautiful and smart. I taught about it for a while. I asked him again, what if you wake up one morning and her beauty and smartness is no more, what would you do? I found it funny when people tell me they love someone because of their outward appearance or what they can do. Don't  get me wrong, am not saying outward appearance does not matter but it should not be the focus of your relationship or marriage. Don’t make that mistake. When Adam saw Eve,  he said this is the bone of my bone and the flesh of my flesh. You don’t need any reason to love someone or be in a relationship with someone just because they helped you when you needed them most.  Most relationships is base on situations or demand so when one is not getting what he or she is looking for then he backs out. God's love for mankind was not based on any reason but he loves as even in our weaknesses. Many ma...

TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF

TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF Why carry burdens you were never meant to bear? Why lose sleep over things beyond repair? The storms may rise, the winds may roar, But your Father holds the open door. He calms the seas, He knows your name, No struggle faced is faced in vain. So breathe in peace, let worry cease Let faith arise and fear release. Take the pressure off, lift your eyes above, And walk in grace, in strength, in love. You’re not alone, you're held so tight Live a life that's full of light.   BY EMMANUEL ASARE MIREKU

THE BREAKFAST

THIS THING CALLED MARRIAGE  Marriage, not just a union of two people, but a journey of countless seasons, a school with no graduation, only tests, lessons, and silent reflections. Many walk through life, burdened not by failure, Not by loss or death, But by a single decision made in the name of love, Or sometimes, in the name of fear, pressure, or haste. Some wear smiles that do not reach their hearts, Carrying a weight they cannot share, Wishing they could return to yesterday To make a different choice, To wait a little longer, To see a little clearer. But life moves forward. And marriage, once entered, becomes its own world. A world where love must grow into patience, Where passion must mature into understanding, Where commitment must survive disappointment. The young admire the idea of marriage They see the beauty, the glamour, the dream. The old, with stories behind their eyes, Sometimes wish for an exit From the very thing they once chased with joy. This thing called marriage ...
