A REALITY CHECK

A Reality Check: How a Challenge Changed My Life * I love it when people challenge me, not on a bad note, but on a good basis. One challenge that stands out in my mind is when my spiritual father told me he wanted my grades to change souls into the kingdom. Those words struck a chord in me, and I took it personal. At the time, I was in senior high school, and I didn't get the grades I wanted. But I knew that greater things awaited me ahead. When I got to university, I started engaging in serious academic studies with the mindset that my grades would change someone. And I'm here to tell you that it's very true that grades can change souls. I studied continuously, and one day, a friend came to me and said, "Chale, you study too much!" It was funny, but I realized that God was taking me somewhere. People started looking for me to do their quizzes, assignments, and teach them. I realized I could use that opportunity to win souls for God. So, after prayers, I wou...

A TEST OF TESTIMONY

A TEST OF TESTIMONY  As believers, we often proclaim our faithfulness to God, but the true test of our devotion comes when we're faced with trials and tribulations. Without a test, there is no testimony. God tests us to see if we can hold on to the testimony that will come our way. God tests us to refine our faith, to purify us, and to prepare us for the testimony that's yet to come. He wants to know if we'll remain faithful, even when the blessings aren't flowing, and the challenges are mounting. As a believer, you need to know that God will always test your faith to see how faithful you are. We often say we are faithful when there's no test and we enjoy good things in our life. But the question remains, will you be able to stand in the midst of the test? Do we forget the number of people in the Bible who went through tests to meet their testimony? Even great men and ministers of God on earth share their testimony of what happened in their lives. Abraham was tested...

THE OUTPOURING FIRE 🔥

The Outpouring Fire: Unleashing God's Transformative Power In the last days, God promised to pour out His Spirit on all people, declaring, "I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams" (Acts 2:17). This promise, foretold by the prophet Joel, has been fulfilled in the Church Age, empowering believers to fulfill their divine purpose. The Promise of the Outpouring Imagine being part of a people who have been promised revival and restoration. Joel foretold of a time when God would pour out His Spirit, bringing new life to His people (Joel 2:28-32). Jesus reaffirmed this promise, saying, "John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now" (Acts 1:5). This promise was not limited to the Old Testament era but extended to the Church Age. Pentecost: The Outpouring's Fulfillment On the Day of Pentecost, approximately 120 bel...

" From Hardship to Hope: A Journey of Resilience"

In the vast tapestry of life, there lies the western side, a land that often feels like a living hell. It's a place where the dreams of many seem so distant, where the harsh realities of existence can crush even the strongest spirits. It's here that children are born into a world that seems bent on testing their resilience from the very start. I've pondered why tears flow freely when the realization dawns that Africa is our motherland. It's a continent that often feels like a battleground, where survival sometimes means wading through the mire of selfishness and individualism. In this unforgiving terrain, people chase their own interests relentlessly, often at the expense of those around them. The pursuit of wealth can drive some to unspeakable acts, where the allure of money blinds even the closest of kin. It's a place where the thirst for riches can warp minds and souls, leading to deeds that chill the very bones. Money, they say, is the root of all evil, yet pove...

THE WESTERN SIDE OF LIFE

The western side of life can feel like hell on earth, and I can understand why many children cry when they realize they are born in Africa. It can be a challenging place to live and pursue your dreams. Selfishness seems to prevail, with people prioritizing their own interests without considering the well-being of those around them. The pursuit of money can lead to extreme actions, such as killing one's own brother for financial gain. While money is often considered the root of all evil, poverty is also a debilitating affliction. Sometimes, I wish my great grandparents had sacrificed themselves to slavery so that we could enjoy the benefits today, perhaps living in one of the European countries. However, despite our humble beginnings, we have the resilience to rise from the ashes and strive for a better future. We were born into poverty, but we are determined to create wealth and fulfill our dreams. By Mireku Emmanuel Asare
